Role overview

Job description

Role overview We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead technology and infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on Oracle. You will run several customer engagements at once using Scrum and Agile methods, keep stakeholders informed through clear reporting, and spot and clear risks before they slow delivery. Key responsibilities Plan, run and deliver technology and infrastructure projects, including Oracle implementations, upgrades and migrations. Manage several engagements in parallel, balancing priorities, resources and timelines. Lead Agile delivery: run sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives, and keep backlogs in good order. Prepare status reports, dashboards and steering-group packs, and present them to customer stakeholders. Keep RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies) current; escalate early and drive blockers to resolution. Manage scope, change requests, budget and timelines, keeping customers aligned on trade-offs. Coordinate internal technical teams, Oracle specialists and third-party vendors. Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders from working level to senior leadership. Required skills and experience 8+ years of relevant experience, including proven experience as a Project Manager on technology or infrastructure projects. Solid exposure to Oracle projects and technology, such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Fusion applications. Strong hands-on Scrum and Agile skills, and comfort with hybrid or Waterfall delivery where needed. Track record of managing multiple concurrent engagements. Experience writing clear project reports and presenting to customer stakeholders. Strong risk, issue and dependency management. Proficiency with delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps or MS Project. Desirable Certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PSM, PMP or SAFe. Oracle certifications, for example OCI Foundations or Architect. Experience in a consultancy or client-facing delivery role. Personal attributes A solid team player who builds trust across delivery teams and with customers. Excellent written and verbal communication, able to explain technical detail to non-technical audiences. Proactive and calm under pressure, raising issues early and owning their resolution. Highly organised, able to switch between engagements without losing detail.
