Operations Manager - Trucking

Roles & Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end road transportation, from vehicle placement and dispatch to delivery and turnaround. Drive fleet utilization, vehicle availability, TAT and on-time performance. Manage transporters, fleet owners and 3PL partners across routes. Track freight costs, trip economics and operational performance to identify cost improvements. Resolve issues around vehicle placement, delays, breakdowns and transporter performance. Maintain operating MIS and ensure capacity is aligned with business requirements. What we're looking for: Strong hands-on experience in trucking operations, fleet management, or 3PL transportation. Good understanding of FTL operations, fleet utilization, route planning and transport economics. Experience managing a mix of owned/attached fleets and external transporters would be valuable. Prior experience in cement logistics or other high-volume industrial transportation is strongly preferred. Someone comfortable being close to operations, working with transporters, and solving problems on the ground. This role is based out of Nehru place, Delhi
